Family Emergency Care Class is a two-evening class offered the first and second Thursday evenings of each month, unless otherwise noted.   This two-evening course  covers family first aid and infant, child and adult CPR. 

Participants receive a two year American Heart Association certification. The AHA curriculum revisions are included in this course. 

A GREAT CLASS FOR CHILD CARE PROVIDERS NEEDING FIRST AID AND CPR CERTIFICATION!  YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH NIGHTS.

Please note:  There will be no class in June 2010.

PARENTS:  PLEASE DO NOT BRING SMALL CHILDREN WITH YOU TO THIS CLASS.

EXPECTANT PARENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO TAKE THIS CLASS BEFORE THE BIRTH OF THEIR BABY IF POSSIBLE  (not recommended for mothers in the last month of pregnancy).  The class can also be taken after the birth of your baby.  Call the office if you have any questions.

PLEASE NOTE:  REGISTRATION FOR THIS CLASS IS $45 PER PERSON.  THIS IS NOT PRICED AS A PRENATAL  "COUPLE'S" CLASS.

• Complete your profile including information on any family members in the 'add individuals' section at the bottom of the screen.  Please include the names, sex and birthdates of children.  (for office use only)
• When you decide on a class date, register under YOUR NAME ONLY.  DO NOT CHECK YOUR SPOUSE'S NAME OR ADDITIONAL FAMILY MEMBERS WHO PLAN TO REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS AT THIS TIME.
• The next screen to appear will be 'Selected Courses'.  Include the name of anyone who will be attending class with you in the small box at the bottom of the class screen.  (This is an informational box only to help us in linking family members; no additional charge OR registration will be incurred at this point.)
• We would love to know where you heard about our classes!  Please make a brief notation in the box beside the name of the person who will be attending with you.  (Ex-Dr, newspaper, flier, friend, work, family, web site, etc)
• To register your spouse/support partner/other family members, go back to your profile screen and check the name of the next attendee at the bottom of the page.  Repeat this procedure until you have completed all registrations.
